About Us

The mission of iKuai Workshop is to facilitate team coaching and organizational guidance, allowing each individual to harness their strengths and passions. Together, we explore and achieve the highest purpose and value of the organization.

iKuai believes that every individual carries a light within, and the answers reside deep within our hearts, whether at the personal or team level. However, what truly intrigues us is this: if we were to explore these answers more deeply from within, and if each person chose to engage in what they believe in, what they enjoy, and what they excel at, all while growing alongside their team and achieving mutual success with clients… what kind of organization would that ultimately become?

iKuai Story

01. Witness the Magical Power and Delightful Flavor of Teams

In 2008, the company's founder, "Wu Mao," left the corporation and ventured into professional coaching and facilitating services. He established "iKuai Workshop" in the mountain city of Taipei, aiming not only to discover the potential within their clients but also to explore the possibilities within the organization itself. We have adopted the classic fable of "Stone Soup" as our logo and the spirit we want to convey. Even in front of our clients, we often use the story of a single stone and the stone soup to facilitate team discussions and collaboration, bearing witness to the magical power and delightful flavor that teams can achieve.

02. Play for real

When you get to know an iKuai partner, you'll discover a common flavor: playing for real. We embrace playing for real because it allows us to confront the most tension-filled issues with our clients, as that's where the greatest potential lies. Whether it's organizational mergers, company transformations, new leadership transitions, brand or cultural reshaping, cross-departmental conflicts, and more, we believe that as long as we face these challenges together, the toughest obstacles can become the team's most valuable gifts.

Play for real, YES AND,Turly play

However, what truly sets us apart is the notion that, in addition to playing for real, one must also truly play! Often, the most challenging impasses can be overcome by adopting a playful approach, fostering open communication, breaking free from rigid patterns, and even inspiring individuals to turn difficult situations into a playful "player's spirit." This approach consistently ignites inner motivation, driving us toward a better version of ourselves. Because of our distinctive style of playing for real, truly playing, and the collaborative spirit of YES AND, we have gradually attracted like-minded individuals from both sides, each with their unique expertise, mutual appreciation, and support for one another. Our expertise spans various fields, including executive coaching, guidance techniques, experiential games, narrative dialogues, visual arts, system alignment, and organizational transformation. In summary, we encapsulate our approach as "Playing for Real, YES AND, and Truly Playing." Beyond being a shared value, this has become an intrinsic guiding principle when we collaborate with our clients from the inside out.

04. iKuai Workshop's Birthday Celebration

Every year on April 1st, we celebrate iKuai Workshop's birthday. We deliberately chose April Fools' Day to organize activities that embrace our own silliness. This lighthearted belief encourages us to keep daring and experimenting. We're still on this journey, still exploring this possibility. As long as our partners continue to have that playful silliness, we'll keep enriching the flavor of this stone soup with sincerity and a playful spirit.

Make work a pleasure

“Making Work a pleasure” represents iKuai’s aspiration and calling for both future organizations and individuals. This phrase connects our passions, capabilities, and imaginations with one another. We aim to use the inner experience of enjoyment as a guiding principle to reevaluate what both individuals and organizations can achieve. What is the purpose of work? What kind of mindset and skills do individuals need? What services can we provide to best assist individuals and organizations in mutually achieving a fulfilling and remarkable life?

The Story of Stone Soup

iKuai believes

Even a stone can cook up a pot of soup
iKuai believes that every person possesses light and harbors immense potential.
It’s not the stone that’s magical but when people are willing to come together…

With collective belief and commitment, magic becomes all-pervading.

A group of backpackers traveling together made their way to a village, claiming that they could cook an incredibly delicious soup with a stone. The villagers were skeptical yet curious.

“We have a stone here, and if someone has a pot, we can give it a try,” suggested one of the backpackers.
“I have a pot at my house…” began one villager. “Does anyone have water? And we’ll need someone to help with the fire.” Tasks were distributed among the villagers, and their interest grew.

“No matter how good the soup is, it always needs a bit of salt and pepper,” said one of the backpackers while stirring. Almost immediately, someone went home to get salt and pepper.

“This soup is fantastic! It would be even better with some mushrooms!” Another villager brought mushrooms.
“Let’s try the local eggplants!” The villagers began to contribute their ideas.
“Could we add some dried fish too?” “Do we have enough ingredients?” “I’ll bring some beef…”

The villagers' eyes sparkled as they imagined how they could enhance the flavor and nutrition of this pot of soup. The backpackers diligently prepared the soup with the ingredients contributed by the enthusiastic villagers, and the stone soup started to fill the air with its delightful aroma.

Backpackers and villagers began to set up tables and chairs nearby.
The villagers, enjoying the rare opportunity to celebrate together, brought out drinks and musical instruments.

After dinner, the villagers invited the backpackers to stay and sing and dance together, celebrating this unforgettable and delicious stone soup feast.
